A rare opportunity and a genuinely exciting role for an experienced Building Physicist who is looking for a move in to a management role with greater scope for P&L management, budget setting and business development, if that is your leaning.You will be responsible for managing a team of 3 and their workload that comes from the wider practice and also as building physics specific commissions.Their projects are predominantly non-domestic in nature and is a mix of modelling, compliance and Breeam work all completed using IES software.The practice is also keen to take on work within the wider scope of building sustainability and this is something that you could well be spear heading if you have the background, knowledge and desire to do so.All in all, there is scope within the post to really own it, to carve your own niche and take control of your career while being part of a company with its own, wider expansion plans.The physics team is currently based around the Sunderland and North East region, but nothing is cast in stone location wise, particular as they have fully embraced remote working.
