Summary URGENT VACANCY - immediate start! Join our great team on a fixed term contract.Interviews will take place on Tuesday the 30th August.As a Welcome & Service Assistant you will play a key part in welcoming our visitors into Lyme and growing support for the Trust. This is a busy and bustling role, based working at Lymes Admissions kiosk and ticket office. Ensuring our visitors have a greatwarm welcome and all the information they need to make the most of their visit is key, if you enjoy engaging with people this role is for you.The role does involve some lone working at times, as well as weekend, evenings and bank holiday working. This is a part time fixed term position that will last until February 2023 with a minimum of two shifts a week and the opportunity to pick up more. What its like to work here This Peak District mansion is a popular filming location and was made famous as Pemberley in the BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. High above Manchester, it is a beautiful and special place and two thirds of our visitors come to enjoy the outdoors here.Lyme boasts 1,400 acres of beautiful parkland and rugged moorland, 2 herds of wild red deer, a very busy programme of events, art and exhibitions. Lyme also has extensive gardens that range from the Italianate Dutch Garden to the Vicary Gibbs tree garden,six catering outlets and two shops. Visitors are a vital part of what we do, so youll be responsible for ensuring that you providean excellent service to all our visitors, every day. As a Welcome & Service Assistant, its your role to ensure that the welcome our visitors receive is perfect, setting them up for an amazing experience for the rest of the day. Youll be responsible for answering queries and making sure visitors can find everything they need for their visit. Through excellent service you will help grow support for the Trust and Lyme, engaging with our visitors about all the different ways to supportus, such as donating, volunteering or becoming a member.
