Job Description

Job Title: Maths/Science TeacherLocation: Disley, StockportWorking Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:30 AM - 4:30 PMSalary: Weekly PayContract Type: Temp-PermRequired Qualifications: Enhanced DBS on the update serviceExperience: Ideally, experience working with children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, especially autism and associated social and communication needs.Subject: Maths/ScienceWe are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths/Science Teacher to join our team in Disley, Stockport. This role involves providing educational support to children with autism and associated social and communication needs in a bespoke and nurturingenvironment.Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Maths and Science lessons tailored to the needs of students with autism.
  • Differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Implement individualized education plans and monitor progress.
Requirements:
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service is a mandatory requirement.
  • Ideally, previous experience working with children with SEMH needs, particularly autism and associated social and communication needs.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for Maths and Science subjects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
