Do you want to work for a progressive organisation with a good history, who makes a product that our customers want and need.We are looking for permanent engineering planner to join our manufacturing team.This is a days-based role working 7am - 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7am - 2.30pm on a Friday. This is a new role for this site and offers varied tasks and the chance to support the electrical and mechanical engineering teams.if you have previous experience in mechanical or electrical engineering and planning, we want to hear from you! About the Role The engineering department at our Disley site requires a dedicated engineering planner to build and communicate weekly and monthly maintenance schedules to assist in the completion of planned maintenance activities, ad-hoc repairs, and statutory inspections.Main duties include:

Use of the CMMs system to priorities work requests and ensure all work is planned effectively.
Issue work orders.
Planning all work and resources on a day-to-day basis and for planned maintenance outages.
Work closely with the mechanical and electrical engineering managers to ensure all engineering tasks are carried out safely with permits to work, LOTO procedures, risk assessments and SOPS are being followed at all times and developed where necessary.
Ensure that parts and services are purchased economically and available for planned work activities.
Use SAP system to ensure that critical spares are always held in stock.
support the engineering team to build programs of work into engineering shut plans.

Essential Skills The following are essential for this role.

Completed a recognised mechanical engineering apprenticeship preferably with a City & Guilds or equivalent NVQ qualification.
Highly proficient with CMMS and SAP systems.
Experience in mechanical maintenance engineering.
proficient in Microsoft project or excel.
Proven experience in maintaining complex automated manufacturing equipment.
