Summary Were looking for you to join our team at Lyme. If you have experience in volunteer management and community engagement then wed like to hear from youwith a team of over 500 volunteers and hardworking local communities this role is all aboutconnecting with people. Working with the Volunteering & Community Manager, youll support our people through change on property and build links with our local communities. Excellent local transport links means youre able to travel here by public transport or car.Click here for more information about this location What youll be doing As Senior Volunteering & Community Officer youll champion a positive, flexible and inclusive environment for existing and future volunteers, communities, and partners. Working across all departments youll champion our plan for volunteering and communities,involving developing new ways of working and deepening relationships with existing and new audiences.This role involves volunteer line management, with the expectation of weekend working. Who were looking for

  • Understanding and good practice of volunteer management
  • Understanding of good practice in community engagement and involvement, as well as broader participation and partnership working
  • Practical and successful experience of developing and implementing new products and approaches to volunteers
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to coach and support those leading and working alongside volunteers and community partners
  • Strong communication skills.
