We are seeking an experienced and qualified multi-skilled (electrically biased) maintenance engineer to join an established Engineering team team and provide technical support to ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing processes.This is a full-time, days / evenings role, with a continental 4 days on / 4 days off shift pattern (6-6 and 10-10).Overtime is available, and the starting salary is circa £42.5K.As a multi-skilled maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for providing electrical and mechanical maintenance support to a wide range of machinery, including robot pickers, electronic guided trucks, check weighers, metal checkers, and multi head weighers.You will alsohave the opportunity to undertake project work and identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.The ideal candidate will be qualified to at least level 3 (NVQ / BTEC / ONC), with a strong electrical qualification and experience working as a maintenance engineer.Experience with PLCs and fault finding is highly desirable, as is the ability to read electrical schematics and drawings. Panel wiring experience is also advantageous, though training is available to the right candidate.We are looking for a team-oriented individual who is able to work towards long-term goals and is comfortable in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
