High above Manchester, it is a beautiful and special place and two thirds of our visitors come to enjoy the outdoors here.Lyme boasts 1,400 acres of beautiful parkland and rugged moorland, 2 herds of wild red deer, a very busy programme of events, art and exhibitions. Lyme also has extensive gardens that range from the Italianate Dutch Garden to the Vicary Gibbs tree garden,six catering outlets and two shops.Excellent local transport links means youre able to travel here by public transport or car however please be advised if using public transport there is approximately a 30 minute walk from the end of the drive to the house. Click here for more information about this location What youll be doing As a Collections Assistant, youll be working with a great housekeeping team in an incredible place, helping with the day-to-day cleaning and care of the collections. No detail will go unnoticed, and youll keep a keen eye on everything from the environmentalconditions in a room, to signs of wear and tear. Youll keep accurate records too.In this visitor facing role, wed love you to talk to visitors about the work youre doing, and the collections we have.
