Material Planning Analyst - Desford (Hybrid) - Up to £23.50/hr - Inside IR35Do you have supply chain experience, and are you seeking a new material planning opportunity in Desford, Leicestershire Jonathan Lee Recruitment is looking for a Material Planning Analyst, and the hybrid role comes with a contract rate of £23.50 per hour- Inside IR35.Working within a product-focused team, theMaterial Planning Analyst has the following major responsibilities:

Ensure that material requirements are scheduled for delivery from suppliers in a quantity and on a date to support our customer service
Ensure that deliveries take place on the correct date, in the correct containers, and in the quantity
Validate that supplier schedules meet the facilitys demands and collaborate with suppliers to ensure continued material availability
Initiate, coordinate and participate in activities to ensure optimum inventory levels
Manage and control inventory levels for outgoing parts
Hold Supplier Performance review meetings and track recovery actions

To apply for thisMaterial Planning Analyst role, you will need previous experience working with a Material Planning role or supply chain. You will also require the following experience:

Previous experience of working with a Material Planning role or supply chain.
Supply chain experience, ideally within manufacturing industry.
Supplier Management Experience, having a relationship with suppliers.
Knowledge of MRP.
Excellent Microsoft office skills, must be competent in Excel.
Power BI experience would be beneficial.
Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
