Were looking for a talented Payroll Specialist to join us on a part-time (22.5 Hours), permanent basis, based at our Head Office, in Crick, Northamptonshire. Working MON, TUES & FRIPay, benefits and more:Were looking to offer a salary of up to £28,000 pro rata, per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday pro rata (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. Youll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well asa cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.What youll do on a typical day:

  • Manually entering payroll information into ADP Global View [ADP GV] payroll system
Entering payroll information using the appropriate SSL loading feature within the ADP GV payroll system. Calculate pay manually as and when required. Investigate overpayments, zero pay queries as arise each pay period prior to final processing of payroll,minimising potential errors, supporting team in ensuring correct payments to colleagues are made Updating employee payroll records, including P45, new starter declarations, tax, NIC data and any other relevant employee changes Ensure employee data maintained, including absence records, entitlements, ensuring accurate calculations are made for any statutory payments Input and maintenance of payroll payments and deductions: COT3, settlement payments, court orders, union membership, student loans, other creditors. Ensuring all data and payments are made accurately and within the appropriate timeframe.
  • Ensure SNOW ticketing system managed appropriately, prioritising urgent tickets as required, and responses made within agreed SLA parameters
What you need to succeed at XPO:
  • Working knowledge of ADP Global View
Awareness and knowledge of current Payroll related legislation and HMRC guidelines Experience and knowledge of occupational pension schemes Experience and knowledge of Time & Attendance systemsBe part of something big.
