Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and qualified professional who possesses a wealth of experience in supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. If youre an inspiring classroompractitioner eager to make a positive impact, we invite you to apply.As an innovative Independent School located in the heart of the Black Country, the school specialise in providing alternative education to learners from diverse backgrounds. The passionate and dedicated staff team operates across multiple sites, offeringprovision for both KS3 and KS4.The learners embark on a full-time permanent journey with the school, either through a twelve-week preventative placement at KS3 or while awaiting allocation to an alternative school. The school also cater to children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities(SEND).We are in search of a dynamic Teacher who:

  • Possesses a profound understanding of the social, emotional, and mental health needs of young individuals within an educational setting.
  • Excels in creating a nurturing environment that balances academic progress with SEMH development.
  • Demonstrates excellence in teaching and learning, with a diverse range of experience.
  • Has the ability to deliver engaging SEMH-themed lessons.
  • Infuses passion, energy, and innovative ideas into their subject, enriching both the classroom and the overall school environment.
  • Holds ambitious aspirations for personal and learner growth, striving for optimal outcomes regardless of background or learning barriers.
  • Exhibits exceptional skills in classroom behaviour management, including proficiency in de-escalation techniques.
The ability to deliver all lessons including Maths, English, Biology, PSHE.
