Job Description

We are recruiting a Quality Assurance Assistant to work for an established company based in Cradley Heath. The role reports to the Quality Manager.The main objective of the role is to provide support for the Groups QA / QC system, to ensure efficient operation and to assist with Group Engineering activities when called upon.The main duties will be:

  • Assist in analysing inspection reports submitted by Suppliers.
  • Assist with carrying out internal QA Audits.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the QA team.
  • Liaise with UK Suppliers on quality matters.
  • Conduct Audits at UK Suppliers.
  • Provide support in root cause analysis.
  • Carry out any reasonable tasks as required by the Group Engineering Team.
The successful candidate will have the following skills :
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience within a commercial QA environment.
  • Must be computer literate and have a practical working knowledge of ERP Systems, Outlook, Word and Excel and be able to demonstrate this.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Numeracy & Analytical skills.
  • A strong communicator with good verbal and written skills.
  • Planning and organisational skills.
  • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines and achieve targets.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team, but also able to work on their own initiative when required.
