We require a wood machinist to for an interior fit out company.Responsibilities:- Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy- Troubleshoot issues with machines and equipmentSkills:- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles- Ability to assemble and disassemble machinery- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments- Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software- Knowledge of tooling and cutting techniques- Welding experience is a plus- Familiarity with plastics injection molding processes- Strong mathematical skills for basic calculationsExperience with the following within a wood/timber environment is essential:CNCBeam sawEdge bangersSpindleSawJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £11.00-£13.00 per hourBenefits:
