Leading Hand - Skilled Fabricator required for our manufacturing client based in Cradley.We are looking for an experienced Leading Hand - Fabricator to join our fabrication department.Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager you will have previous Team Leading experience as well as Fabricating & CNC Press Brake Setting experienceSkilled fabricator that can utilise all machines efficiently in the fabrication section and to oversee the team so that the schedule is delivered on time and to the required quality.Responsibility & Duties Include:• Program and set CNC brakes presses accurately in line with product requirement. Use the correct tooling and pressure required. Produce a first off to the gold standard.• Fabrication and MiG/TiG. Welding capability.• To set cutting and tube bending machines in the fabrication section• Set and operate the Guillotine• Run the production batch on the machine to the correct specification and to gold standard first off if required. Check the product is correct during batch production.• To oversee the workload of a small team• Sheet Metal forming and folding•Work with Mild steel, Aluminium and Stainless Steel• Manage and catalogue Press Brake tooling• Ability to program and set the Press Brake• Read drawing• Ensure that the production schedule delivered on timeMust be competent in the use of all forms of measuring equipment including verniers, rulers, angle measuring devices.Able to work pro-actively and as part of a team to improve productivity and efficiency.Hours of work: 36 hours per weekMonday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm .Friday: 8:00am to 12pmSalary: £24,336 per annumTemp to Perm trial period.Immediate start available Required skills
