Network Support Engineer Overview:A leading Technical consultancy is currently recruiting a Network Support Engineer to join the Operations Team and assist with 2nd line support in the West Midlands. Ideally the chosen candidate will have experience supporting Cisco, HP AND DrayTek routersand switches, Active Directory and Network infrastructure within a complex environment. You will design, configure, manage and support the server and infrastructure as a part of an exciting progressing team. Youll develop the infrastructure, product evaluation and functionality.Role & Responsibilities:Office/field-based role covering mainly the Midlands and South West of England Provide technical support for any hardware or software related issuesProvide support for networking infrastructure (switching, routing, VLANs, Wireless)Working with Voice Technicians to facilitate successful implementation and support of cloud and on-premises IP voice solutions, converged with data networking infrastructure. Troubleshooting Internet & WAN Access circuits, specifically ADSL & FTTC circuits. Liaise with 3rd party support providers when support issues arise. Building, configuration and deployment of Desktop ComputersEssential Skills & Experience: Demonstrable skills with Cisco, HP and DrayTek routers/switches (must have) At least 3 years 2nd line Technical Support experience (must have)Experience with Networking infrastructure (switching, routing, VLANs, Wireless) (must have)Great communication skills and experience liaising with 3rd parties Demonstrable skills with Cisco, HP and DrayTek routers/switches Previously built, configured and deployed Desktop Computers Package: Salary £28,000 to £35,000Provided with Company car Pension (optional) and life assurance28 days holiday (including bank holidays)Excellent benefits package
