Job Description

* Immediate start *Our client is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a minimum of 6 months. Working closely with the Finance Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Matching proof of deliveries to invoices and chasing returns from site and proof of deliveries from suppliers
  • Administrating invoice queries and resolving issues
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Dealing with remittance queries
  • Maintaining the accounts mailbox
  • Filing and archiving
  • Ad hoc tasks as and when required
Our client is looking for someone who has:
  • Previous experience within an accounts environment
  • Dealt with a high volume of invoices (circa 1500 pcm)
  • Good communication skills
  • A positive, enthusiastic, organised and logical approach to work
  • The ability to prioritise workload
Experience of Sage 200, Eque2 Construct and Evision is desirable.If you have a good background in a similar role, are used to thinking on your feet and finding solutions and, want to work in a very busy fast paced environment, then please apply on-line immediately!
