Job Description

The West Kent Therapy Service is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and talented Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our established Community Rehabilitation Team.This post is within the vibrant service based at the Coxheath Clinic made up of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Therapy Assistants. We provide comprehensive assessments and rehabilitation programs for patients in their own homes across rural and urban West Kent localities. We also provide intervention for some patients in group settings.The service responds to the rehabilitation needs of adults of all ages and backgrounds with a wide range of conditions including musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, complex co-morbidities, and frailty. Our team is also the provider of amputee rehabilitation services for the area under the guidance of our special interest physiotherapist.Locally we are working closely with our clinical partners on new developments to enhance our excellent patient-centred care. We strive to achieve the best outcomes for the individuals we treat to ensure they achieve their full potential following a hospital admission or period of illness, and to keep those living in their own homes safe with the greatest level of functional independence possible.Our friendly and supportive environment can provide great opportunities for Continuing Professional Development through our internal training and external courses, helping you to specialise and develop your professional skills. Alongside this we will support you to develop your people management skills, equipping you as a future leader in our dynamic organisationNow is an excellent time to be joining Kent Community Health Foundation Trust as we received an ‘Outstanding’ rating from our last CQC inspection.If you are a highly motivated individual and willing to work autonomously as well as part of a team then we would like to hear from you.You must be an HCPC registered Physiotherapist and will be required to travel around the Trust in a timely manner.
