Job Description

The role is responsible for the upgrade and maintenance of the HR/Payroll System and ensuring smooth transition between the operations and payroll teams in accuracy of data.To ensure the HR System is up to date and maintained at all times whilst assisting with the processing of payroll through linking in with the HR Operations and Payroll teams.Client DetailsThe client is a leading social housing provider, with a mission to deliver good quality, affordable homes to people who need them most. They manage around 34,500 homes in England for over 76,000 customers, including affordable properties for general rent,shared ownership and sale, alongside specialist accommodation such as retirement and supported living schemes for older and vulnerable people, domestic abuse refuges, a dedicated LGBTQ+ Safe Space, and young peoples foyers.DescriptionPeople and Pay Systems OfficerPeople and Places Accountabilities

  • Completion of system upgrades and associated testing in a timely manner, ensuring collaboration with Reward & Payroll and other stakeholders.
  • Supporting the rolling out of new modules and recommending system improvements to current processes.
  • Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of data and structure within iTrent, including regular data cleanse, maintenance and resolving system issues. In doing so, you will take into consideration data security, access controls and business continuity in relationto the system ensuring compliance and maximise system functionality.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, operating procedures, training materials to support and provide guidance to end users, including liaising with internal and external stakeholders to provide technical support integrating iTrent with other businesssystems.
  • Support all system users by analysing, tracking and resolving system issues, escalating critical issues where required.
  • Completion of system work including efficient AD sync, ONS returns, Housemark data.
  • Ensure that establishment controls are in place and adhered to, expanding to all areas of the business.
  • Analysis and creating of Bradford Factor scores and reports
Reward & Payroll Accountabilities
  • Assist in thorough quality checking and audit follow up, supporting the monthly Payroll processing for both the mid-month expenses run and main pay run
  • Support in the creation of scheduled and ad-hoc data requests/reports, utilising spreadsheets (including vlookups), iTrent reports and business objects
  • Support the administration of the Stonewater employee benefits offering, including but not limited to myFlexBens, Company Cars and pension
  • Support monthly and annual reward and payroll activities, including Auto Enrolment, P11Ds, PAYE Settlement Agreement, flex bens renewal and pay review
ProfilePeople and Pay Systems OfficerQualifications / Experience
  • Knowledge of HR systems (iTrent) including design, configuration and maintenance. Including a sound working knowledge in workflows (emails and tasks), batch process, data conversion and inheritance of structures.
  • Advanced level of Microsoft Excel and Business Object Report writing
  • Liaising with key stakeholders, managers and colleagues at all levels throughout the organisation.
  • Payroll experience desirable
