Furthermore , the Client are focused is intergrated further development on education via coursesand training procedures which are in place.Client DetailsMichael Page are currently working in partnership with a public sector client within the educational sector who are looking to recruit for a to oversee 100 plus properties within a 270,000 ft2 radius.This is an excellent opportunity for a Facilities professional from a commercial/ industrial background to add significant value to the organisation by providing operational and maintenance services on a wide range of complex systems within the Estates teamto ensure continuous improvement in all areas of our service delivery.DescriptionThey are seeking a Maintenance Technical with excellent well rounded background knowledge in all areas to drive performance, quality and maintain standards. You will have experience completing successful projects and providing planned and reactive maintenancerepairs to high quality levels and always ensure minimal disruption to the day-to-day operations within the working environment.

  • Undertake authorised development and adaptation work to buildings within capabilities
  • Working as a member of the maintenance team carries out repair and rectification on a wide range of equipment across the university campus, including Halls of Residence and student houses and equipment and plant. Will have provide reactive support.
  • Install plant and equipment, working when necessary with outside building contractors and other specialist contractors
Profilestarting with 1/2 years experience within a similar environment they are also looking for the following:
  • City and Guilds qualification in carpentry
  • Relevant Wood machining qualifications / Experience
  • Practical working experience in plumbing
  • Practical working experience in carpentry
  • Good level of competence in carrying out work on door furniture and locks etc, servicing and maintenance.
