Job Description

Key Responsibilities & Activities

  • Responsible for ensuring your own health and safety and that of others
  • Ensure all Health and safety obligations are met, and company policies are adhered to
  • Report any safety concerns, hazard observations, accidents and incidents in a timely manner
  • Completing pre-start checks are carried out at the start of every shift
  • Responsible for ensuring the mobile plant is cleaned down on weekly
  • Reporting any issues with the plant to assist in ensuring mobile plant is maintained
  • Re-fuelling of mobile plant
  • Ensuring processing plant is fed with material in a timely manner
  • Assisting operators with clearing material when there are machine blockages
  • Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping on site
  • Loading of customer vehicles with products/waste
  • Management of traffic as and when required
  • Picking of waste or products to assist other team members as and when required
  • Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the mobile plant for the movement of waste material Responsible for yard operations
