Aninspirational, enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Science is required to join an experienced team, on a full time basis, working in a well-resourced, efficient department. The incoming candidate would be required to start following the October half term, but for an available candidate an immediate start could be considered. This position is required, initially, for 12 months.However, for a successful candidate a permanent position will be made available starting in September 2021.The school is a successful 11-16 secondary in the Colne area. They have a mixture of modern and traditionally styled buildings. The Science department is very well equipped and has a very experienced Lab Technician. The school is located in an excellent position for commuters with very close access to the M65 motorway and public transport links in Colne.The Science department has a long tradition of academic excellence. At GCSE level they deliver AQA on both the Synergy and Trilogy courses. Experience with these courses would be desirable, however, not essential.
