Job Description

Nav Developer (3 days remote, 2 days office based, NAV 2017, SQL, C/SIDE C/AL, SQL, TDD) Staffordshire40-50k plus benefits package.Skills

A number of years working as a software developer with NAV C/SIDE C/AL development language

SQL

Test-first/Test Drive Development (TDD) experience

Experience with integration through Restful APIs/Web Services

The Role

Configure, develop and deliver MS Dynamics NAV software and components in all functional areas

3 days working from home and 2 days based in the office

Create/modify existing customisations and integrations as requested by the business

Debug system problems, design and implement resolutions

Installation and implementation of service packs and hot fixes as needed

Technical liaison to business groups for application support

Support and drive process change and communication in line with NAV best practic

Assist with functional specifications of customisations and integrations required for NAV implementation

Provide 3rd level support to Service Desk

Assist in training junior team members

Work with key stakeholders in the business to gather application requirements and provide estimate

Take responsibility for delivering development tasks within agreed timeline

Coordinate and contribute to end-user training including development of system documentation and training materials

Creation of technical documentation for all customisations and integrations

Any other tasks as reasonably required
