You will provide daily support to two Payroll Assistantsand support the Payroll Services Manager and Payroll Advisor on projects and a varied caseload.The UK Payroll team has a wide and increasing scope of work that offers opportunity to make the most of your skills and develop in new areas to fulfil your potential as a Senior Payroll Assistant. We process payroll for the UK, UAE and international secondments.The teams purpose is to ensure that Linklaters employees are paid accurately and understand all aspects of their pay. We provide excellent value to the business through specialist advice, outstanding customer service, and a one-team collaborative approach.Responsibilities:

  • Accurately updating employee records using the payroll software, iTrent
  • Running payroll processes and reconciling reports
  • Managing the payroll administration of employee benefits
  • Answering a wide range of queries at varying levels of complexity
  • Collaborating with teams within the firm and external contacts
Senior Payroll Assistant - What were looking for:
  • A minimum of 3 years experience working on a varied and complex payroll(s)
  • Experienced and highly competent user of payroll software and MS Excel
  • Experience in a professional services environment
  • A driven team player
  • Motivated by always providing an excellent service
  • Takes pride in quality of work and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload
  • Strong initiative to take ownership of workload
  • A proactive approach to improvement and change
