Summary Working within a bustling atmosphere as part of passionate team this role as a Welcome & Service Assistant, plays a core part in providing fantastic customer service.Youll be working roughly two to three days a week, mostly Friday to Monday and with some mid-week days in summer.The role will be shared across Paycockes House & Garden, Coggeshall Grange Barn and Bourne Mill. What its like to work here Working as part of the Coggeshall and Colne Team, this role covers three of our special places. Paycockes House is a beautiful timber framed Tudor merchants house, and is situated in the picturesque village of Coggeshall. Also inCoggeshall is Grange Barn - a fascinating barn dating back to the 1200s. The third property is Bourne Mill - nestled in historic Colchester, this property has many stories to discover. The successful candidate would become part of a sociable and energetic team of six, reporting to supportive, hands-on management. They will share a wide range of tasks across our three beautiful and historic properties and will be encouraged to develop interestsin particular elements of the work. Each day is different but always enjoyable. What youll be doing As a Welcome & Service Assistant, its your role to ensure that the welcome our visitors receive is perfect, setting them up for an amazing experience for the rest of the day.Youll be responsible for answering queries and making sure visitors can find everything they need for their visit. Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. Working with our spirit of place youll work with the visitor welcome team to linkeverything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do.Youll deliver high standards of presentation at the property, and ensure all our communications with our visitors are clear and consistent, from the first click on the website, to the posters and signs around the property.
