With engaging stories to tell, theresalways something to share with our visitors, and it will be you job to make sure were doing that all year round.This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.Due to the location of our property, there is no easy public transport access between properties and therefore we would encourage you to consider how you would commute here prior to applying. What its like to work here Youll be a member of a team that works across three amazing properties, Paycockes House & Garden, Grange Barn and Bourne Mill. You will also be working along portfolio staff, internal consultants and volunteers. The pace of the work can be rather lively,but you will always be working in beautiful surroundings with supportive people. What youll be doing As a Visitor Experience Officer, youll be responsible for the delivery of effective interpretation and engaging programming to support the delivery of a year round offering of events at the property. Working alongside the Welcome Manager and Property OperationsManager, youll develop engaging and meaningful interpretation that can teach, move and inspire our visitors.Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. Working with our spirit of place, youll work with the visitor welcome team to link everything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do. Youll deliver high standards of presentation atthe property, and ensure all our communications with our visitors, from the first click on the website, to the posters and signs around the property are clear and consistent. As a champion of exceptional visitor experiences, youll join a high performing teamand will regularly be involved in the duty management rota helping run the visitor operation which includes working some weekends and bank holidays.Please also read the full role profile attached to this advert. • A hard working approach, be committed and a team player
• Experience of producing interpretation, or promotional material
