Job Description

A Property & Building consultancy requires a team secretary to join their business and become a key part of the team. The business has 10 surveyors based out of their Clerkenwell office, with a couple of additional support staff, you will join this tight-knitteam, where your primarily responsibility will be working for the two owners of the business, the role will essentially be a mixture of general administration, some basic finance work, and PA duties.This role would be best suited to a person that has worked in a firm of property or construction consultants (RICS accredited) previously.The two founders of the company previously were equity partners in a very large real estate consultancy, and they have brought a culture that takes the best of a large consultancy whilst maintaining a small team feel.Your duties will be as follows;

  • Provide administrative support for directors and staff including report writing, letter writing and audio/copy typing
  • Act as ambassador for the team
  • Provide proactive diary support including organising meetings and conference calls.
  • Collating & analysing project information for the team
  • organising travel & itineraries
  • Organising inspections & surveys
  • coordinating internal & client presentations
  • Dealing with organisational mail (and emails)
  • Accurate record keeping
  • Greeting clients into the office
  • Taking incoming phone calls and customer enquiries
  • Generating sales invoices & keeping accurate records
  • Assisting in preparation of marketing materials
  • Managing social media channels
In order to be suitable for the role you will need
  • Previous experience in a business support / administration role (ideally in the property or construction arena)
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong organisational skills, and an ability to handle a busy workload
  • Excellent spelling and grammar.
Due to Covid restrictions the company is currently working from home 2 or 3 days a week, but is envisaged once the restrictions are behind us you will be in the office more frequently, so it is better to work on the assumption this will be an office basedrole for most days.This is a great role with real prospects in a rapidly expanding business.
