Would leading the Supplier Quality Process for an innovative energy technology company excite you If so, this is the role for you!Adecco have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Supplier Quality Engineer with a leading energy technology company based in Shannon, Co. Clare. This company develops solutions for measuring and analysing moisture, oxygen, liquid, steam, and gas flow with proventechnologies that are well-known and widely deployed across many industries, including oil and gas. Key Responsibilities:As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will take ownership for quality and continuous improvement across a range of suppliers. You will build relationships with internal teams, suppliers to ensure successful delivery. You will ensure supplier quality to globalstandards and lead continuous improvement where there are performance issues.Additionally, you will be responsible for: *Supplying Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development*Ensuring compliance, and drive improvement plans where needed*Leading supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting key suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence*Tracking metrics & works quality improvement plans to address problem areas*Reviewing and approve quality plans, investigate quality escapes to provide root cause analysis and ensure effective corrective actions are taken*Communicating quality expectations and supplier requirements, serving as liaison between internal stakeholders and external suppliersRequired Skills and Experience: To be successful in this role, you must:*Have a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college with proven supplier quality management experience*Have good communication skills and follow up, even when faced with delivering difficult messages*Understand and work with Quality Management Systems*Have the ability to understand and communicate technical requirements - data driven*Have a desire to learn and contribute with persistence and follow through*Have a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Excel - must be capable of reviewing/analysing data and creating pivotsIf this sounds like an opportunity that excites you, please feel free to get in touch via email () to find out more.
