Job Description

Are you a qualified teacher looking for flexible and rewarding work in secondary schools Do you have QTS or QTLS and experience of teaching in a variety of subjects If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!We are looking for cover supervisors to work in local secondary schools on a day-to-day or short-term basis. You will be responsible for supervising classes and delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher. You will also need to managethe behaviour of the students and ensure they are engaged and motivated.You will be comfortable teaching a range of subjects from computing to French to Humanities and everything in between. You will also have good subject knowledge and the ability to adapt to different situations. Set subject teachers can also apply, as theremay be opportunities to teach your specialism.The pay rate is £153 per day, and you will have the flexibility to choose when and where you work.
