Job Description

Project Manager ITThe Solutions team is made up of high performance individuals who are motivated to differentiate and sustain long term customer partnerships. We work in an environment in which everyone is encouraged to feel empowered to spot and challenge things that aregoing wrong both centrally and in the operation. We have an exciting change agenda over the next 2+ years including significant programmes of work:

  • Digitalisation of all our HR and finance processes
  • Implementation of leading edge IT systems and work processes to drive our operational performance
  • Standardisation and roll out of formal Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Implementation of new operations in the UK and overseas
We are therefore looking to supplement our existing Project Management pool with professionals who have demonstrable experience in these areas.Your Responsibilities
  • Proactively identifies, plans and leads significant projects and portfolios
  • Works closely with operational stakeholders to deliver change both cost effectively and meeting service obligations
  • Plays an active role in ensuring best project management practice
  • Uses Business Analysis techniques to identify process challenges and propose innovative solutions which can be implemented
  • Uses Project Management tools to manage complex programme of change successfully
  • Communicates effectively at all levels within and outside the organisation
What will you need to succeedEssential
  • Degree qualified with project management and business analysis qualification
  • Experience of the logistics / supply chain sector
  • Significant experience in a related role with a track record of managing complex operational implementations
  • Conceptual thinker with excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
Desirable
  • Operational and Solution design experience
  • Experience of projects involving complex IT changes
  • Experience of digitization initiatives in HR and Finance
  • Continuous improvement experience
