Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join one of Sheridan Maines international clients based in Basingstoke. Working closely with the Finance Manager, responsibilities of the role include:

  • Purchase ledger
  • Sales ledger & credit control
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepayments and accruals
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register
  • Stock reconciliations
  • Expenses
  • Cash forecasting
To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills and attributes:
  • Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced role
  • Able to prioritise tasks
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Competent IT skills
