Job Description

Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager and working collaboratively with all other Talent & Development team members, this role is responsible for administering the Learning Management System and related learning-related systems, managing the content and data on those systems, and providing support both within the team and to end-users in the wider business.Key Accountabilities:

  • Administration of the LMS, including creating and maintaining course information, scheduling courses, registering learners, updating training records, maintaining system processes, and resolving or escalating technical issues.
  • Managing other related processes, including room bookings, trainer schedules, learner reminders and delinquency.
  • Support for training activities, including preparation and maintenance of training rooms, equipment and training material, organising stationery and other support to the training team.
  • L&D Reporting, including training metrics, compliance reporting, learning needs and evaluation reports, as well as ad hoc reports as required.
  • Provide support to LMS users across the business, including troubleshooting issues with learning records and e-learning, liaising with relevant department heads to ensure all relevant training is recorded, and promoting good practice to the wider business.
  • Manage and maintain online content in the LMS, including administering e-learning content from external suppliers.
  • Evaluate third-party online course material and feedback to ensure technical integrity and learning and business objectives are achieved.
  • Creating internal e-learning content using Articulate, working with L&D trainers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
  • Evaluating course feedback and impact, both online and offline, and providing summaries to the relevant trainers.
  • Plan your time effectively and work with the Learning & Development Manager to ensure you can meet deadlines on multiple projects.
  • Communicate effectively with all members of the Talent & Development team, and the wider business.
  • Other related activities as identified by the Learning & Development Manager.
  • Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct.
  • Essential Requirements:
  • Self-organised and methodical, with strong attention to detail
  • Problem-solving skills, with a curiosity and tenacity to resolve issues
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, able to communicate clearly and effectively with people
  • IT literate, with demonstrable Windows experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Useful knowledge and skills:
  • Previous Learning Management System experience (ideally SuccessFactors LMS)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including Skype for Business, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Interest in e-learning and technology in general
  • Ability to manage a large and diverse workload
  • Personal drive and the ability to work effectively as part of a wider team
