Job Description

Are you an experienced and skilled Operations Technician Would you like to lead and act as a leader for customer’s technical supportOur client is looking for a brilliant Lead Operations Technician to join their team in Hampshire, they are a leading business within the Telecoms sector. Join our team and expand your development for a market leading establishment.As a Lead Operations Technician your main responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver agreed SLA & Scope for key customers with clear and consistent documentation.
  • Act as a technical lead and point of escalation for less experienced members of the operations function.
  • Add value to the wider BAU function and ETOPS customer base.
  • Ensure a customer focused experience is delivered consistently.
  • Actively support the development, training and nurturing of junior team members.
  • Effectively manage workload and clearly communicate with peers.

    • There is plenty of on the job training however they expect you to have core experience with the following:
  • Expert knowledge and experience with IP Networking (CISCO, Juniper, Nokia/Alcatel)
  • Experience working with Data/IP Networks in an operational manner
  • Knowledge of 2nd or 3rd line diagnostics
  • Strong experience with; LAN, WAN, DSL, Broadband, Ethernet
