Job Description

You will assist the Brand Manager in ensuring efficient communication of information, admin tasks and playing a supporting role in driving business plans to maximise sales and margin.Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Marketing, Purchasing, Sales Teams and your Commercial colleagues to maximise the potential from their product portfolio.
  • Work closely with the Brand Team and have direct ownership for certain tasks to maximise the sales volumes and profit and minimise any risks within your vendors for Exertis and our stakeholders.
  • Continually strive to help our vendor partners and customers achieve their goals whilst maximising the opportunity for Exertis in sales volume and profit.
  • Maintain key vendor information for sales function, including product set ups, price lists, deal registration process, promotional updates, new product launches and products going EOL
  • Ensure key information flow from vendor through to Sales function including ETAs, lead times, product shortages and deal registration status
  • First point of escalation to all product related queries for your brand.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders in Sales, Commercial and Purchasing to ensure that communications and relations between the departments are effective
  • Own the pipeline and deal tracker for the vendors, supporting the management of vendor bids within the business unit
  • Understand basic competitive positioning of aligned products and vendors in context of key market, products or brand competition
  • Supporting the Brand Manager to manage excess/aged stock
  • Using internal systems to track performance
  • Analyse sales data and conduct market research to inform business decisions and evaluate success
  • Being aware of trends and market changes and how they may impact on business
  • Support the monitoring and reporting monthly to the brand managers the performance of the products in your portfolio (both Kondor/Exertis sell in & Channel sell out)
  • Support the Brand Manager in producing a monthly/quarterly business review pack to be presented to Business Manager and vendor, this is to include a summary of campaigns completed
  • Support the Brand Manager with the development and progress collaborative business plans for each brand, regularly report against progress
  • Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct.
