Senior Generator Engineer: Generators: EssexSenior Generator Engineer required for generator sales company based in Essex. Applicant must have several years proven experience in all types of generator repairs.Our client is well known within the Generator & Plant industry. They are proud to be an AMPS member.RequirementsExperience of Generator maintenance, and electrical control panels. Both with new and used sets with sizes ranging from 10kVA - 2000kVA· Basic I.T skills necessary and to be able to use a laptop to configure control panels on generators, including use of the Cat E-Tool· Experience in load testing and load banking of all generators· Full U.K driving licence essential· Electric diagnostic skills required· Qualified in wiring control panels and ATS panels, such as: Deep Sea Electronics, Power Wizard & Woodward· Able to diagnose fault finding and recommend how faults, if any, can be corrected· Have experience with the following diesel engines: Caterpillar, Perkins, JCB, Cummins and Iveco· Able to work on own initiative and complete tasks efficiently get the job done· They are looking for a conscientious employee who has excellent time keeping skills and who would be prepared to work overtime, should it be required.· Be prepared to speak to customers regarding any servicing or fault queries· The job role will be a static position based in their head office in Essex with the occasional breakdown / repair need throughout the south of England· Able to occasionally travel across the U.K to inspect generators that we are looking to purchase, following up with a detailed report of the sets· The engineer will need to be able to supply evidence of their experience in all of the above.The successful candidate will be rewarded with a permanent position from a successfully expanding and financially stable company.Working hours are Monday - Friday 0700-1700Applicants will be required to submit references and will have a trial period.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £30,000.00-£42,000.00 per yearBenefits:
