Job Description

Field Service EngineerLocation: near BristolHours: Monday to FridaySalary: £30,000 - £45,000 (OTE £45,000)Benefits: Company Car + Private Medical Insurance + OvertimeRed has a great opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join a leading service provider specialising in rotating equipment. You will join an established and highly skilled team of engineers operating in the Southwest.As Field Service Engineer you will cover Bristol and the Southwest, carrying out site visits, site servicing, repairs, and installation duties.Suitable applicants will have experience in a field-based engineering role and a broad knowledge of electric motors, gearboxes and pumps, and experience in both an electrical and mechanical field.Field Service Engineer responsibilities:

  • Complete all documentation, including risk assessments, and submit to the site service supervisor once completed.
  • Complete daily timesheets and ensure they are handed in as per procedure.
  • Respond to call-out requests and have flexibility with overtime as a 24/7 breakdown service is provided.
Field Service Engineer skills:
  • Previous experience within similar industry preferred.
  • Mechanical and electrical engineering background.
  • Knowledge of electric motors, gearboxes, and pumps essential.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer focused.
