Job Description

MERJE are working with a well-established, successful, owner managed business in their search for a talented and proactive Finance Manager to join their growing team as a number 2 Finance person.Working in tandem with the Financial Controller you will take ownership and accountability of the management accounts, monthly reporting, Forecasting, audit requirements, updating company financial records and posting of invoices.This is a key hire within this growing team and the successful candidate will have a wide remit with excellent opportunity to develop their commercial skills and acumen supplying MI and analysis to both the Financial Controller and Managing Director whichwill further enable the business to thrive.Another key focus of this role is stakeholder engagement as there will be regular face to face meetings with banks and customers for the purpose of presenting financial information.Qualifications / Experience and Skills :

Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
Possess advanced Excel Skills with experience of manipulating and analysing data.
Sage experience would be very beneficial but not essential.
Ability to take ownership for posting, processing, producing, and analysing monthly management accounts.
Knowledge of Loan books would be advantageous.
Experience of managing the loan management system would also be extremely desirable.
