Job Description

Global Technology Organisation based in South Manchester require an Interim Credit Manager for a 6 month contractReporting directly to the Head Of Finance and managing a team of 6 you will be responsible for ensuring that outstanding invoices are paid in a timely mannerKey duties include:

  • Responsible for the smooth operation and running of an effective and efficient Credit function within the Global Finance Shared Services Centre, in line with agreed Service Levels and relevant policies and procedures. Takes corrective action to addressprocess under performance and non-conformance. Lead and support projects to improve processes throughout AR
  • Reporting to the Head Of Finance with timely and accurate performance information. Submit weekly KPIs relating to the accounts receivable team
  • Assist the Head Of Finance in preparing and presenting reports to senior management and aligning with functional business roles
  • Support the Transactional Manager develop and maintain operational plans for the Transactional Manager, including business continuity plans
  • Adopt and implement Finance policies and procedures. Report exceptions or non-conformances
  • Keeping up to date with the latest practices relating to accounts receivable. Contributes to the development and introduction of new best practices and procedures
  • Supporting the implementation of new systems and ways of working
  • Performing month-end account handling and closing activities including reconciliations.
