CLAIMS HANDLERSOUTH MANCHESTERSALARY UP TO £25,000 + HYBRID WORKING THE OPPORTUNITY:Get Recruited have been trusted to represent one of South Manchesters longest standing insurance firms. who are now looking for a additional claims handler to join their dynamic, friendly and highly successful team. Due to the business being around for thepast 12 years our client pride themselves on the service they offer to clients and customers alike as well as supporting and nurturing their own employees talent.Claims handlers will be asked to work within a fast-paced environment, working with a wide range of clients while arranging cover for both new and existing clients. You will be given the opportunity to learn and work alongside experienced handlers helping withyour own growth and career development. Plus, further support to complete you CII/ACII exams.You will report to the claims manager, handling a variety of Insurance claims and using your own Insurance knowledge and experience to investigate and approve them. This is a newly formed team within the company so you will be expected to show good levels offlexibility and organization. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone to really push their insurance career to the next level within a business that has a track record of progressing their employees to more senior positions & internal promotions.THE ROLE:* Responsibility for the day to day handling and management claims within the Claims Handling team.* Peer review claims handled by other members of the Claims Handling team.* Answering the telephone, responding to queries and re-directing queries to the relevant department.* Completion of general administrative tasks.* Communicating by telephone and email with policyholders and insurance agents.* Manage and develop relationships with external and internal auditors and other external providers.* Assist and support the Gibraltar Insurance operations where necessary.QUALIFICATIONS:* Essential: GCSEs A* - C in Maths and English* Desirable: A Levels* Very good working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft officeEXPERIENCE:* Desirable: 12 months experience working within the Insurance or Finance industryTHE PERSON:Highly motivated individual with a willingness to develop and learn new skills Able to work as an effective team member.
