Their audit team plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and quality of our insurance operations. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit Team Leader to lead the audit team to success.This role involves ensuring compliance with industry regulations, identifying process improvements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The Audit Team Leader will collaborate closely with insurance brokers, underwriters, and other stakeholdersto maintain the highest standards of quality and integrity in our operations.Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of audit professionals to achieve their goals and maintain a high level of performance.
  • Provide guidance and support for team members career development.
  • Develop audit plans, strategies, and methodologies to assess the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of insurance operations.
  • Ensure audits are conducted in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensure that the insurance business adheres to all relevant industry regulations, laws, and internal policies. Identify compliance gaps and work with teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Evaluate potential risks and vulnerabilities in insurance operations.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies and recommend process improvements to minimize risks.
  • Monitor and review audit findings, reports, and recommendations for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure that audit reports are delivered to relevant stakeholders promptly.
  • Collaborate with insurance brokers and underwriters to address audit findings, provide insights, and enhance the quality of our insurance products and services.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency enhancements within the audit function and across the insurance business.
  • Prepare and present audit reports to senior management, highlighting key findings, recommendations, and trends.
  • Track and report on the progress of audit-related initiatives.
