Position: Electronics TechnicianLocation: Shipley, West YorkshireSalary: £18,500 - £20,000 plus 15% Shift Allowance (12-Month FTC starting on days and progressing to days and afternoons)Sector: ManufacturingPlease note: This role is for 12-month FTC so ideally candidates will be either immediately available or at risk of losing their current position.About the company: This role is an opportunity to work for a world-class manufacturing business.About the role:• Responsible for production and alignment of Radio Frequency (RF) components such as RF Filters and multiplexers• Using small hand tools and equipment to perform high frequency tuning of RF circuits • Initially working days before moving on to days and afternoons shift-pattern.About You:• Ideal candidates will be experienced with components (such as capacitors, coils, substrates) and attachment media (solders and epoxies)• Capable of using common laboratory equipment including Vector Network Analysers, Spectrum Analysers and oscilloscopes• Candidates must ideally be able to test, troubleshoot and rework • Ability to both read and interpret work instructions, schematics and process procedures to determine sequence of operations and proper alignment techniques
