Senior Structural Engineer - Central London / Hybrid - Up to £60,000 per annum plus pension, healthcare & bonus;Our client is a civil, structural and architectural practice with a strong structural engineering capability. Their current building structures workload has a focus on high-rise mixed use, commercial and residential projects. As a senior member of theirstructural engineering division you will work closely with in-house and external architects. Your involvement will commence at client advisory stages, through to the delivery of major projects, predominantly in steel and concrete. Working alongside a seniorassociate and the head of civil and structural engineering, you will be responsible for supervising junior engineers and technicians, programming work, quality control and client care. You will frequently work on projects where the firm has provided fullyintegrated architectural, civil and structural design.This is a well managed and long established practice synonymous with elegant, cost effective designs, and they have a reputation as a firm that invests in their employees development. They retain a roster of prestigious clients and command healthy fee margins.The company runs IStructE and ICE approved training schemes and works out of highly resourced, modern offices, close to a main line rail station.Profile Required: Degree qualified with a 2:1, or above, in civil or structural engineering. A consulting engineering background with at least six years’ experience, this must include extensive steel and structural design. Good team workingskills are essential, you will need to work collaboratively and forge productive working relationships with colleagues and clients. You should be chartered or incorporated, or be very close to achieving chartered status.
