Job Description

Production/Supply Chain Logistic Assistant -Wellbeing Brand Fragrance/Cosmetics/Beauty£35,000 - £40,000LondonMy client is a multi-dimensional wellbeing brand that launched with five high vibration fragrances. Tapping into the growing global presence of holistic wellbeing, they use best-in-class ingredients, healing plant and flower essences, and energetic medicine to create tangible products and meaningful experiences for a modern audience.They are actively looking for an experienced Production/Logistics/Supply chainAssistant to join their growing team. This role covers the entire supply chain process, from sourcing to delivery, whilst helping the business to grow and become more profitable through streamlining the current supply chain and making it more cost effective.You’ll also be involved in the NPD process and help bring new and exciting products to market. You will be overseeing the end-to-end supply chain, manage the third-party suppliers to ensure products are made and delivered on time, manage stock levels andhelp to achieve optimal supply chain costs whilst achieving 100% on time in full to customers. Responsibilities

  • Be the lead point of contact for third-party manufacturing and logistics partners.
  • Develop timelines to ensure all components are tracking in to be delivered in time for production.
  • Work closely on maintaining a profitable margin by negotiating with existing suppliers and looking for new potential partners.
  • Monitor and manage the supply of component parts and raw materials.
  • Manage production planning for the entire range, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled and optimum inventory is in place.
  • Source and market analysis for materials including packaging, fragrance, and new innovations.
  • Take an active role in NPD projects alongside the founder and Head of NPD and leading these from a production perspective.
  • Support product optimization initiatives, linked to sustainability, design and cost.
  • Manage the cost effectiveness of the supply chain, materials, storage, distribution etc.
  • Ensure all quality control is happening and holding suppliers accountable.
  • Partner with distribution partners to ensure stock is in the right place at the right time.
  • Produce a demand plan and working cross functionally to ensure this is accurate.
  • Manage order management, ensuring product is delivered on time to distributors.
  • Manage regular stock takes at two separate warehouses as well as componentry stock take at fillers.
  • Ensure all POs are raised and receipted correctly, and invoices are in line.
  • General daily administration duties
  • Organisation of wholesale client orders from receipt through to delivery
  • Build and maintain an excellent relationship with our sales agency.
  • Input sales orders and paperwork onto our systems for processing
  • Organise logistics and paperwork for wholesale & supply chain orders.
  • Support the product development team in the planning and execution of new ranges & categories.
  • Support in the review and analysis from sales, purchasing, forecasting & planning of on-going strategies.
Person requirements
  • An experienced supply chain manager with experience managing third party providers across different markets.
  • Experience in the consumer goods/cosmetics space.
  • Previous experience across end-to-end supply chain including planning and logistics.
  • An understanding of NPD across fragrance and personal care products preferred.
  • An agile and adaptable attitude.
  • Precise and methodical planning and optimising.
  • You’ll be hugely proactive & will use your own initiative.
  • Ability to partner on NPD from brief through to finished product.
  • Can do attitude.
  • Great at solving problems an open to explore solutions.
Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced small team environment. Whereby jobs, roles & priorities can change on a regular basis. Role will be working for a new global multidimensional well-being brand, launched in May 2021
