Job Description

Investment AccountantLocation: West End, LondonJob Type: Full-time, 6 Month ContractSalary: £65,000 per annumOur client a leading real estate investor, is seeking an Investment Accountant to join their Property Finance and Investment Team during an exciting period of growth. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to their expansionin the Real Estate and Private Equity markets.The successful candidate will be part of a driven team, working closely with asset managers, directors, and other stakeholders, under the guidance of the Group Financial Controller.Day to Day of the role:

  • Management and financial accounting for a portfolio of entities, including management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Production of accounts and preparation of audit files and annual financial statements for multiple entities.
  • Analysing and agreeing intra-group transactions and handling VAT returns.
  • Providing oversight and guidance to junior team members, reviewing their work to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Professional qualification (ACA/ACCA).
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and highly numerate.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage a varied and sometimes pressured workload.
  • Strong academic background.
  • Judgement and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible mindset with a willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of MRI Qube is highly desirable.
