Group Financial Accountant | London |£400 - £500 per dayI have a fantastic opportunity working for highly reputable business who are looking to recruit a fully qualified Group Financial Accountant to join their growing business.Reporting to the Finance Director, the Group Financial Accountant has full responsibility for the statutory compliance and reporting of the Financial Statements under IFRS and Corporation Tax compliance.Main Responsibilities:• Manage the annual audit fieldwork process, liaising internally with the Group Finance Teams, Homes Finance Team and externally with the auditors, to obtain an unqualified audit opinion on time and within budget for all companies in the Group.• On a monthly basis, ensuring the accuracy of all aspects of accounts processing, and the Nominal Ledger, including all Balance Sheet reconciliations - accruals, prepayments VAT control, PAYE control and investments.• Preparation of Consolidated Statutory Financial Statements and subsidiaries under IFRS/ UK GAAP• Preparation of Quarterly reporting pack for ultimate parent company in accordance with their strict reporting timeline.• Responsible for the annual tax compliance process in conjunction with the external tax advisors: filing of the annual Corporation Tax Computations, including Deferred taxation and Group Relief calculations, preparation of quarterly payment on account calculations.Key requirements:• ACA Qualified Accountant with experience of producing financial statements in accordance with IFRS and UK GAAP, strong technical skills.• Able to prepare multiple consolidations.• Multi-site accounting experience is an advantage.• Good experience/knowledge of Accounting Software packages.
