Job Description

We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join a charitable organisation based in Central London on a hybrid format. The FBP plays a pivotal role in leading financial business partnering efforts for designated teams, and additionally, they overseeaspects of donor project reporting and offer support during peak periods.The role serves as the primary finance liaison and expert for specific teams, taking charge of forecasting, budgeting, and addressing finance-related inquiries. This entails managing the monthly reporting cycle for these areas and providing ad hoc analysis.Duties & Responsibilites

  • Act as the lead business partner for all divisions to ensure a standardised approach to business partnering, including consolidating forecasts and budget preparations.
  • Prepare the financial components of selected grant applications and reports.
  • Assist in generating consolidated reports for Senior management and the Board.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analyses.
  • Provide support for financial processes and inquiries as needed.
  • Reporting to the Head of Finance
  • Collaborates closely with other Finance Business Partners for consolidated reporting.
  • Coordinate with the transactional team to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
Person specification
  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant.
  • Experience in internal and external financial reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent numeracy and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for dealing with individuals at all levels.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy.
  • Experience in a similar role within a small to medium-sized organization.
  • Comfortable building relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders internally and externally.
