Procurement Agent Salary: Competitive Location: BridlingtonEdwards and Pearce are looking to recruit a motivated and experienced Purchasing Agent for a leading digital finishing client. This is a permanent position, with the main responsibilities of the Purchasing Agent being to purchase goods and services to fit businessneeds. Also, working alongside internal stakeholders and external supply chain partners, to keep up with the efficient operations within the company. THE ROLE: The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for:Raising and scheduling orders using MRP to meet production demand. Negotiations with suppliers for the best prices and delivery. Supporting accounts with procurement related invoice queries. Making themselves adaptable to short term changes for production. Liaising with suppliers to ensure deadlines are met. THE CANDIDATE:The successful Purchasing Agent will have the following skills and attributes:I.T. Literate, skilled with Microsoft software.Preferably skilled in ERP/MRP systems.Be able to complete tasks efficiently and resolve issues in a timely manner.Background in purchasing. Confidence and capability in dealing with contacts from a range of professional levels.
