Summary: Consortium Recruitment are pleased to be representing a highly innovative and leading business, based in Bridlington. They are experiencing an unprecedented period of growth and are now looking to hire an ambitious and experienced Electrical Design Engineer. The role itselfThe successful Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of design relating to production, R&D, Procurement, sub-contractors, service support and technical documentation. You will be methodical, organised and able to prioritise in linewith customer demand.Your duties will include but not be limited to:* Produce and check electrical drawings.* Liaising with mechanical design and software engineers to ensure the electrical design meets customer needs.* Provide technical support for electrical assembly operatives, sub contract and any outsource partners* Responsible for producing technical documentation for machine operation, testing and design.* You will be required on occasions to travel to other company locations, customers and supplier sites when requested.* Work towards lean manufacturing methodologies* Create test proceduresThe Candidate As an Electrical Design Engineer you will be involved in all aspects of design from production design to R&D and building relationships with suppliers.You will need relevant electrical design experience, and the following attributes:* Electrical design experience* Relevant PLC/HMl/software knowledge and experience to support design* IT skills* Work towards common goal of the business with stakeholders* Continuous improvement mind set and a knowledge of lean manufacturing processes* The desire to learn and develop skills within a growing business* Able to read and understand mechanical and/or electrical drawings* HNC or Degree preferred but not essentialConsortium Professional Recruitment Ltd are a professional level recruitment consultancy specialising in the delivery of high relevance recruitment services on behalf of our clients across the UK.
