Main Responsibilities as a Senior Electrical Engineer

Focus on the delivery and technical project management of a range of forensic investigations related to the condition assessments and failure analysis of power systems plant, in particular switchgear and cable systems.
As well as project delivery including planning, evidence collation, reporting, project clean-up and closure.

Experience & Skills Required

Experience working for a switchgear/cable OEM, and electrical utility organisation or a power plant service provider.
B.Eng. (or higher degree) in Electrical Engineering.
Condition assessment of paper and polymeric cable systems.
Failure investigations.
Day-to-day running of the project’s hall and materials lab.
Comprehensive technical understanding of: Power systems plant and its operation.
