Our client is a key player in the UK nuclear engineering sector and is in the early stages of a new project. As such, they need an experienced buyer to join their team and create supply relationships with key contractors.Initially, they need to partner with design companies to arrange the supply of professional design services for the project to take it through to manufacture. Your previous experience will include working within a highly regulated industry such as nuclear, oil and gas, aerospace, or petrochemical.Ideally, you will have worked with fuel assembly systems, precision engineering, and automated process technology. However, as a minimum, youll need to be familiar with how complex engineering projects are created and the various purchasing challenges facedwith a new product development process.Initially, our client is offering an 18-month contract for this position, but they expect the project to last 2-5 years before reaching maturity. To learn more about this role, please send your CV quoting reference LX 498619
