Job descriptionThe Role- Working within our Finance department you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reporting to both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be qualified with a minimum of 3 years’ experience handlingaccounts and producing financial reports. We are a growing company, this is a role in which the right candidate could grow with the business.This role will be based at our Wakefield site however there may be a requirement to attend meetings at our Leeds site on some occasions.Key Responsibilities / Duties include but are not limited to:· Delivery of all internal and external financial reporting, KPI’s and Flash results· Responsible for statutory issues, ranging from VAT returns, HMRC liaison, PAYE, P11D’s, P32’s and Pension schemes etc.· Responsible for authorising payments and ensuring adequate controls are kept over credit card and petty cash facilities· Working with external auditors and tax advisors to produce the statutory accounts and tax computations· Responsible for managing the month end process· Nominal postings, balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis· Reviewing and discussing results with Directors in preparation of monthly Board meetings with key variances highlighted and potential solutions reviewed· Weekly Management Payroll· Overseeing finance team and functions including credit control, purchase ledger & sales ledgerSystems Used· Sage50· Sage Payrol· Microsoft OfficeSkills and Qualifications required· Experience of working in a similar role.· Excellent Excel skills· Good communicator at all levels· An enthusiasm to get to know the business and become part of the team.Job Types: Full Time PermanentPart-time hours: 37.5 hours per weekSalary: Up to £50,000.00 per yearBenefits:
