Graduate Design Engineer (Electrical / Solar PV)Burnley£25000 - £28000 + Full Training + Pension + HolidaysExcellent opportunity for a recent graduate of electrical engineering to join a multi award company in the rapidly growing Solar industry in a varied role where you will work on interesting and challenging projects and receive industry specific training.This market leading company specialise in the design, installation and commissioning of commercial solar PV, EV charging and battery storage projects across the UK. After seeing great success in recent times, they have exciting plans moving forward and arenow looking to build their team to facilitate future projects.In this role, you will be responsible for preparing designs, estimations and using industry leading software for commercial rooftop solar PV projects. You will receive full training for the position and have the opportunity to work on some of the largest rooftopPV projects in the UK.The ideal candidate will be a graduate of electrical or renewable energy engineering with AutoCAD experience and a passion for renewable energy. You must also be proficient in using MS Office, especially Excel.This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate to solidify a long term career within a well-established renewable company where you will be a vital cog in the wheel and encouraged to progress into more senior positions.The role:*Provide PV designs, yield forecasts and financial forecasts.*Support the sales and contracts team seeing projects through from initial enquiry to commissioning*Manage the development of cost effective design and engineering solutions and deliver complete design packages for project proposals (including tenders)*Production of technical specifications and drawings using AutoCAD*Management of technical relationships with sub-contractors, funders and Distribution Network Operators*To be ensure full compliance with quality and H&S systems*Operate within the companys Construction Design Management procedures*Support the specification of components for the procurement processThe Person:*Bachelors Degree in Renewable Energy, Engineering, or related discipline.*AutoCAD experience is preferred but not essential.*Passion for the renewable industry*MS Office and comfortable at creating models on Excel to assist with your designs/assessment*Commutable to BurnleyThe services of Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd are that of an Employment Agency.
